GOFFSTOWN — Residents approved all town and school warrant articles at this year’s town meeting.

On the town side, residents approved nine warrant articles, including the following:

• A roughly $20 million operating budget that was recommended unanimously by both the Board of Selectmen and the Budget Committee.

• A $15,000 renewal of a transportation program for elderly residents in town, which is contingent upon the Manchester Transportation Authority being awarded a grant. If renewed, the agreement will be in place until June 2019.

• A warrant article for $230,000 for repairs to the Uncanoonuc Lake Dam, for which town officials received a Letter of Deficiency from the state’s Department of Environmental Services.

Voters only had to consider two warrant articles on the school ballot: a roughly $41 million operating budget and a three-year collective bargaining agreement with the Goffstown Educational Support Staff Association. The money needed to be raised for the first year’s increased salaries in the latter article will come from the the Food Service Revenues and the Special Federal Revenue Fund.

Both warrants passed with a clear majority vote.

A full rundown of the results and the warrant articles for both town and school can be found on the town’s website.

The voting was initially supposed to be held on March 14, but was pushed back due to the snow. In all, 1,154 of the roughly 12,000 registered voters came out, or about 12 percent.
