Salem woman stuck on loose dock rescued from Canobie Lake


SALEM -- A woman was rescued Wednesday morning from a runaway dock that had come loose and floated to the middle of Canobie Lake.

Salem firefighters used a motorboat to rescue the uninjured woman and tow the dock back to shore.

The dock became separated from its mooring while the woman was on it and floated to the middle of the lake, according to fire officials.
