MANCHESTER — Americans for Prosperity - New Hampshire (AFP-NH) will host the third and final event in a series of forums on tax reform in Portsmouth on Wednesday.
The event will bring together individuals and business owners who have been impacted by the tax code who will share their stories.
This is the third AFP forum, with earlier events held in Manchester on July 26 and in Laconia on Aug. 10. The event is free of charge, but RSVPs are required. Tickets are available at https://goo.gl/Y5VpDh.
“We have heard from individuals and job creators about just how much our tax code is holding back our economy, leading to fewer jobs and lower wages,” said Greg Moore, AFP-NH state director. “New Hampshire citizens have also expressed frustration with a tax code that is rigged towards special interests, at the expense of everyday Americans.”
The forum is scheduled for Aug. 23 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Portsmouth Elks Club, 500 Jones Ave., Portsmouth.
