Not getting over Trump

September 07. 2017 11:40PM

To the Editor: We are still hearing it. “Support our President. You lost the election, get over it.” I don’t believe we ever will get over it.

We have a President who is a draft dodger (now in love with the military), serial molester, a compulsive liar, a braggart, a bully, and not too bright. He says things like “I’m a star, I can grab women all I want,” and “I know more about ISIS than the generals,” and “I am so smart I don’t have to go to intelligence briefings.” He sees nothing wrong with mocking people that have a crippling disease.

He wants to spend an additional billion dollars a week for our bloated military. Its budget is already 10 times more than any other country. This money will come from spending less on water and air cleanups, and other worthwhile social programs such as rebuilding Houston.

Some will say that Hurricane Harvey is God’s punishment for electing Trump as our leader. Nah, probably not true.
