Nashua library hosting public health clinics

NASHUA - Nashua's Division of Public Health offers bimonthly clinics in the Nashua Public Library's Chandler Memorial Wing, 2 Court St.

The clinics offer immunizations for pneumonia; hepatitis A; hepatitis B; shingles; Td (Tetanus, Diphtheria); and Tdap (Tetanus, Pertussis, Diphtheria). Each costs $10.

Flu shots are $15 for adults; free for children.

Free blood pressure screening is available, as are free HIV and hepatitis C testing and counseling.

The next clinics are scheduled for 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2, and 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4.

Service is confidential, and no appointments are necessary. Anyone on Medicare is asked to bring their card. For more information, call the Division of Public Health at 589-4500.
