Rev it up for Heroes Car Show heads to VAManchester VA Medical Center

MANCHESTER — The Manchester VA Medical Center, in partnership with JAK Kustoms, will present the second annual Rev it up for Heroes Car Show on Saturday, Sept. 16.
Free and open to the public, the show starts at 9 a.m. at the Medical Center, and the awards ceremony starts at 2 p.m. Registered vehicle parking begins at 8 a.m.
Car registration is free. More than 65 vehicles have been pre-registered for this year’s show.
The awards ceremony will include a veterans’ choice award, people’s choice award, directors’ choice award and kids’ choice award.
Attendees will have access to food, kids’ activities and a photo booth. The Island Castaways Band and Todd Trusty will provide live music.
VA benefits experts will be on-site with a mobile veterans’ center to assist with tasks such as health care enrollment and filing claims.
Veterans should bring a copy of their DD214.
The Medical Center is located at 718 Smyth Road. The rain date for the event is Sunday, Sept. 17.
