September 18. 2017 10:23PM

Second-period goals from Jesse Gabrielle, Anders Bjork and Merrimack, N.H.'s Tim Schaller led the Boston Bruins to a come-from-behind 3-2 win against Montreal Monday in an NHL preseason opener at the Videotron Center in Quebec City.

All the scoring came in the second period.

Goals from Brendan Gallagher and Jeremy Gregoire gave the Habs a 2-0 lead. But Boston responded as Gabrielle and Bjork, with a power play goal, tied the game against goalie Al Montoya. Schaller, a center who has nine goals and 10 assists in 94 career games, scored a shorthanded tally against goalie Zach Fucale for the game-winner.

Boston hosts Detroit tonight and Philadelphia on Thursday night.
