Timing is right for Fall Equinox festival

EXETER — Qwill, Chris Klaxton and David Drouin will play the annual TEAM Fall Equinox festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Swasey Parkway.

The Salem, Mass.-bassed, Qwill, aka Jesse Ciarmataro, is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer with roots in the Seacoast. His music weaves together electronica, roots, jazz and R&B.

Klaxton, a New Hampshire native and University of New Hampshire graduate, is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and educator. His eight-piece ensemble has recorded two albums of original music (“Starcode” and “Collage”).

Drouin, who lives in Exeter, is a singer, songwriter, guitarist and bandleader. His project Cold Engines won New England Music Awards for best rock band in 2016 and song of the year in 2017. He mixes soul, rock, Americana and pop music. Drouin also played with The Brew, a Seacoast-based jam band that toured with Los Lobos and Bruce Hornsby.
