MANCHESTER — A Sagamore Street man who was wanted on a Londonderry child pornography charge was arrested Monday by city detectives.
James Fowler, 43, was arrested at his apartment about 5 p.m. based on a Londonderry investigation that began in August, police said.
A Londonderry detective discovered Fowler possessed child pornography, police said, and prepared both arrest and search warrants that were served by city detectives who are members of the state Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
During their search of Fowler’s apartment, the detectives said they found additional child pornography, and Fowler also was charged in Manchester with one count of possession of child sex abuse images, police said.
Fowler was arraigned in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North Thursday on the Manchester charge, police said. Londonderry police were expected to take custody of him on Friday for a court appearance in that town, according to police.
