Attacking Gardner

To the Editor: I recently received action alerts from ACLU-NH, Sens. Hassan and Shaheen, and my Congresswoman Kuster, each one urging constituents to flood Secretary of State Bill Gardner with emails demanding that he withdraw immediately from the election commission. I find this very disappointing. I am sure people in New Hampshire are well aware that Bill Gardner is both absolutely nonpartisan and absolutely committed to maintaining the best and most democratic possible election process in New Hampshire.

Please stop using pressure tactics on this man. He is just doing his job and serving voters to the best of his ability, as he has been doing for decades. Don't drag a rare man of integrity into the political muck.
