MANCHESTER — A summer reception hosted by Manchester Bishop Peter Libasci raised nearly $222,000 for the Bishop’s Charitable Assistance Fund, the Diocese of Manchester reported.
The reception was held Sept. 7 at St. Pius X Parish in Manchester. The fund is in its 32nd year and has raised and distributed $6 million, which has gone to charitable causes.
“With your help, we’ve provided assistance to our state’s homeless shelters, food pantries and family assistance centers,” Libasci said at the event.
