CHRISTOPHER LYNCH

HOOKSETT — Hooksett police arrested a 23-year-old local man on possession of crystal meth at his 31 Sherwood Drive home Thursday afternoon.

Christopher Lynch faced the charges after Hooksett officers found the drugs while they were serving him for an unrelated, outstanding warrant out of Merrimack County Superior Court.

The clear, glass-like substance later identified as crystal meth was found in a plastic bag in his pocket.

Lynch was booked, processed and released on $10,000 personal recognizance bail.

He will be arraigned on the drug possession charge Oct. 19.

On the outstanding warrant, Lynch was booked and brought to the Merrimack County Jail in Boscawen and is scheduled to face an arraignment arising from that charge on Friday.
