DURHAM — A Dover man who police said forgot to turn on his headlights while driving on the University of New Hampshire campus was arrested on a charge of aggravated DWI last weekend.
Christopher Silva, 22, was arrested at 12:44 a.m. Sunday when an officer following him saw he did not have his lights on, police said. Silva’s blood alcohol concentration was above .16, according to UNH Police Chief Paul Dean.
It is illegal in New Hampshire for adults over 21 to drive with a BAC of .08 or higher.
Silva was released and is scheduled to appear in Dover circuit court on Oct. 27.
