Tony Cameranesi scored in sudden-death overtime, lifting the Manchester Monarchs to a 5-4 ECHL victory over the Beast on Tuesday in Brampton, Ontario.
Joel Lowry scored twice for Manchester, which scored four straight goals to take a 4-2 lead after trailing 2-0 in the first period.
Brampton’s tying goal came at 13:10 of the third period, off the stick of ECHL veteran Reggie Traccitto.
Cameranesi’s winner followed a Monarchs penalty kill. He took a touch pass from Lowry to the left of the goal and stuffed a forehand home.

The Monarchs visit Adirondack on Friday before playing Worcester in their home opener on Saturday at 6 p.m. at SNHU Arena.
