MANCHESTER — Two Manchester men were charged with resisting arrest and prowling after officers caught up with them at Old Wellington Road in the early morning hours Tuesday.

Three patrolmen and a police dog responded to the area of 293 Old Wellington Road at 1:17 a.m. Tuesday after a caller reported men dressed in dark clothing were in her yard with flashlights.

Tryone Hall, 23, of 341 Pearl St., and Jose Rosario, 20, of 525 Amherst St., were taken into custody after they initially ran from police officers into the woods off Mammoth Road.

Manchester police said both suspects were on probation, and as a result, state corrections officials have placed a hold on this case’s proceeding until that office does its own investigation into the matter.
