DOVER — Residents in Dover are encouraged to participate in public workshops this week on climate change.

The Climate Adaptation Chapter Steering Committee is developing a new chapter of Dover’s master plan, and it seeks input about climate change’s effects on energy, food, infrastructure, health, safety, natural resources, water availability and water quality.

The workshops will be held at Dover Middle School on 16 Daley Drive Thursday from 6:30 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to 11:30 a.m. The format for both workshops is the same, so participants only need to attend one session.

The committee is also seeking feedback through an online survey, which will be available Monday at http://tinyurl.com/DoverMP.

This effort is part of the NH Setting SAIL project and is funded by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Office for Coastal Management under the Coastal Zone Management Act in conjunction with the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services Coastal Program.
