Forcing Congress to act

October 17. 2017 11:58PM

To the Editor: While the extremist partisan hacks of both parties continue to refuse to repair the much flawed Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), I must give President Trump credit. By using his authority to make executive order decisions, the President is forcing both parties in Congress to talk with each other and hopefully fulfill their obligation to work together for the well-being of all Americans.

Had Republicans and Democrats worked together in 2010, we would not be in the mess we are in now with out of control premium increases. Faced with unaffordable double digit increases (yet again) in premiums, the Conway School Board must now have a discussion about laying off teachers.
