Hooksett's Matt Paradis and Manchester's Matt Arvanitis both recently received awards recognizing their summer on the links.
Paradis, of Concord Country Club, was named the New Hampshire Golf Association Thomas J. Leonard Player of the Year for the second straight year. Arvanitis totaled 168.25 points to capture the New England PGA's New Hampshire player of the year award.
Arvanitis coaches Paradis on the Southern New Hampshire University men's golf team.
Paradis finished runner-up in both the NHGA State Amateur Championship and Players Invitational and placed fourth in both the NHGA Stroke Play and New England Amateur Championship this past summer.
Arvanitis won three New Hampshire PGA events and finished runner-up in the New Hampshire PGA Championship this past summer on his way to capturing the player of the year award for a fifth time.
