Denver (2-0-2) tops both polls.
Meanwhile, freshman defenseman Max Gildon on Monday was named Hockey East Rookie of the Week for his weekend performance against Colorado College. Gildon had a hat trick in UNH’s 6-3 victory on Friday night, then scored the team’s only goal in a 2-1 overtime loss on Saturday night.
The Wildcats play only one game this coming weekend, on Saturday night at Vermont.
