Nashua police ID man who died after jumping into river

NASHUA — Police have identified a man who died Saturday night after jumping off a downtown bridge into the Nashua River.
Lt. Craig Allard said the man, Jason Meyer, was transported to St. Joseph Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
His death is not considered suspicious, Allard said.
The first report of the jumper came in about 7:20 p.m. Saturday.
Several witnesses reported someone had gone into the water behind The Peddler’s Daughter restaurant at 48 Main St.
