Community college system launching apprentice program

November 10. 2017 10:34PM

MANCHESTER — The Community College System of New Hampshire’s ApprenticeshipNH Program will launch a statewide apprenticeship program to help people improve their job opportunities.

The event will be held Nov. 17 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Manchester Community College’s multi-purpose room.

The program will provide workers with opportunities to pursue highly-skilled, high-paying jobs, and for employers seeking to build a qualified workforce.

The event will feature networking and a panel discussion with people from industry and government, as well as representatives from the community college system who have been instrumental in developing the curriculum for apprenticeship. Attendees can network with companies that are sponsoring apprentices in the information technology, health care and advanced manufacturing sectors.

More information is available at www.earnlearnnh.org, or from Emily Zeien at apprenticeshipusanh@ccsnh.edu.
