Keene police looking for Savings Bank of Walpole robber

Keene police are looking for a man they say robbed the Savings Bank of Walpole branch on Court Street Monday. 

KEENE — Police are looking for a man who robbed a Court Street bank branch Monday afternoon, telling a clerk he was armed and making off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

According to a release, the man entered the Savings Bank of Walpole, 817 Court St., about 3:10 p.m. and handed the teller a note demanding money. After receiving some cash, police said, the man fled on foot.

Nobody was injured during the incident, police said.

The man is described by police as white, about 6 feet tall, with a chinstrap beard. He was wearing light-colored pants and a dark hoodie, police said.
