Morse Town Hall

November 13. 2017 10:44PM

To the Editor: When it comes to thinking about government, many of us think about the gridlock in Washington, career politicians, and an overall inability to move anything forward. But, people tend to forget the policies that affect us most are advocated for and implemented in our State House.

In recent polls, 70 percent of New Hampshire residents believe the state is moving in the right direction. This means the Republican-led state Legislature and executive branch in Concord are working hard and achieving results for Granite Staters.

Republicans moved forward and secured a balanced budget and a reduction in taxes while also passing constitutional carry, full-day kindergarten, and countless other measures aimed at curbing the impact of the opioid crisis.

To spread the good word on Republican accomplishments in Concord, the Derry, Rockingham and Strafford Republican Committees are hosting an RED Town Hall on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 6 p.m. at the Epping Town Hall.

Republican leadership is working for New Hampshire, and we’ll be joined by Senate President Chuck Morse, one of the key architects of our Republican agenda, to discuss how Republican leadership will continue to serve us all through the coming year in New Hampshire.

There is a lot of noise out there in politics now — come to the Epping Town Hall tonight to find out just how grounded and well led the state of New Hampshire is.
