NH Business Newsreel: Single Digits acquires Airwave

BEDFORD — Single Digits Inc., which provides high speed internet access management software and support, has acquired Airwave Networks, a company that provides wired and wireless internet access and digital TV to student housing and multi-unit properties.
With the acquistion, Single Digits gains 150 employees, the company said in a release Thursday. Airwave, based in Annapolis, Md., has nearly 120,000 student and multi-unit dwelling customers in 44 states and Canada. Financing for the transaction was provided by Goldman Sachs Specialty Lending Group.
Bedford-based Single Digits, which won the New Hampshire High Tech Council’s Product of the Year in 2013, is a portfolio company of Bregal Sagemont, a growth-focused private capital firm based in New York. With the acquisition, Single Digits will have about 400 employees.
SBA seeks lender specialist
CONCORD — The U.S. Small Business Administration, New Hampshire District Office, is looking to hire a full-time lender relations specialist to work with SBA’s lending partners throughout the state.

Novus adds new online capabilities

Communications consultant Paul Young started the firm in 1996 after leaving a corporate communications position.
