Manchester man charged in armed robbery near skate park

MANCHESTER — A 22-year-old city man was arrested on an armed robbery charge Thursday evening after police said he pointed a handgun at an acquaintance near the skate park on Maple Street and made off with cash.

Erik Bradbury was located near 182 Wilson St. about 6 p.m., where he was arrested in connection with the 2:50 p.m. robbery, police said.

According to a news release, Bradbury ran toward the Walgreen’s at Wilson and Valley streets after taking the money from the 20-year-old victim.

Police said Bradbury was arrested on the felony charge without incident and was scheduled to be arraigned Friday in Hillsborough County Superior Court North.

Police said they did not find a gun when they arrested Bradbury.
