NH Business Newsmakers: Elliot names Leighton, Chaddock to executive team

MANCHESTER — Elliot Health System named Martha Leighton senior vice president and chief nursing officer and Rachel Chaddock vice president, Visiting Nurse Association of Manchester and Southern New Hampshire.
For more than 22 years Leighton has served in a variety of roles including staff nurse, educator, perinatal safety nurse and clinical nurse leader. For the past year, she served as interim chief nursing officer.
Chaddock was employed by the Elliot and the Visiting Nurse Association from 1994 to 2009 as a director. Over the past eight years she has been employed by Circle Home Inc. as executive director.
Lacroix joins Berlin nursing center
MANCHESTER — Catholic Charities New Hampshire named Jeffrey A. Lacroix the new administrator at St. Vincent de Paul Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Berlin. Lacroix most recently served as system director of long-term care at Central Maine Healthcare in Rumford, Maine.
Nash joins Cheshire Medical Center
KEENE — David Nash, M.D,. joined the Allergy/Immunology Department of Cheshire Medical Center, a Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health affiliate. Nash previously was the director of clinical care at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. He is board certified in allergy and immunology by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.
Franklin Savings promotes executives
FRANKLIN — Franklin Savings Bank promoted Joseph Thornton to senior vice president, retail banking officer; Dawn Beers to vice president, marketing officer; Julie Buker to assistant vice president, retail operations officer; and Kenneth Sawyer, assistant vice president, business relationship officer.
Thornton, who joined the bank in 1992 as teller supervisor, will continue to lead the bank’s Retail Banking Division throughout the bank’s seven offices.
Beers, who joined the bank in 2015 as assistant vice president, marketing officer, is responsible for general oversight and management of the bank’s marketing and public relations initiatives.
Buker will continue to maintain responsibility for the operational performance of the bank’s branch network. She joined the bank in 2010 as branch manager of the Upper Central Street location.
Sawyer will continue to oversee the bank’s Gilford office and will remain focused on cultivating business relationships. He joined the bank in 2006 as branch manager.
