College Hockey: Dartmouth women edged by Harvard, 1-0

HANOVER — Val Turgeon’s goal at 13:37 of the third period broke a scoreless tie and lifted Harvard over the Dartmouth women’s hockey team, 1-0, at Thompson Arena on Wednesday.

The Big Green dipped to 3-9-0 and 1-7-0 in ECAC Hockey play, while the Crimson improved to 7-4-1 and 5-2-1.

Dartmouth netminder Christine Honor had a strong performance, ending the night with 31 saves. Junior Tess Bracken led Dartmouth’s attack on Harvard goalie Beth Larcom with eight shots.
