DURHAM — A Manchester man was arrested on a charge of criminal threatening at the University of New Hampshire after he allegedly brandished a knife outside the Gables Apartment Complex, police said.

Isaiah O'Dell, 19, is accused of threatening three male UNH students, UNH police said. O'Dell, who is not a UNH student, allegedly was upset about an estranged relationship with a student, police said.

O'Dell was arrested by Manchester police and returned to the Durham campus after an arrest warrant was issued for him.

According to UNH police logs, he was booked at 2:36 a.m. Friday.

O'Dell was released on personal recognizance bail and is expected to appear in Dover circuit court Dec. 28.

UNH police said the incident remains under investigation and ask anyone with information to call 862-1427.
