NHIAA Roundup: Lancers Santos, Boucher capture wrestling titles

Seniors Craig Santos (145 pounds) and Alex Boucher (195 pounds) took home championships for Londonderry High in the Kellenberg (N.Y.) Memorial High Wrestling Tournament on Saturday. The Lancers, who took seventh out of 13 teams, also received a third-place finish from junior Ben Psaledas (182) and a sixth from freshman Aiden O’Loughlin (113).

Pinkerton scoring: Dan Kirichok scoring 137, 144; Jason Barton 131, 136; Lauren Sylvain, 164, 102; Meghan Slater, 147, 100; Keenan Nash, 217, 207.

Boys’ hockey

Goffstown 8, Dover 5: At Sullivan Arena in Goffstown, the Grizzlies trailed 5-3 with less than 11 minutes remaining before rallying for five straight goals to win going away. Sebastian Beal scored three of them, including an empty-netter.

Goffstown, which also received goals from Michael Fortin, Grady Chretien, Noah Charron (two) and Colin Burke, improved to 6-1 in Division II.

Dover (5-2-1) got goals from Aiden McDonough, Garrett Swan, Wyatt Allaire, Jake LeClerc and Jameson Goodridge.

Berlin/Gorham 4, Hollis-Brookline/Derryfield School 0: In Berlin, the hosts received a hat trick from Cam Cochran and another goal from John Arguin, and goalie Trent Labrecque notched a shutout.

Girls’ hockey

Oyster River 6, Bishop Guertin 5: Ashley Killen poured in four goals for the Cardinals (3-1) and Lindsey Hult also scored. Oyster River is 6-3.
