FRANKLIN — A house fire early Saturday morning displaced two people, according to fire officials.
Everyone who was inside at the time had made their way out by the time Franklin police arrived about 2 a.m.
It took about an hour to bring the fire under control, leaving significant damage on the first and second floor of the building, said fire officials.
The Red Cross of New Hampshire’s disaster team helped residents with food and accommodations, as the home was deemed uninhabitable.
The two-story home at 25 East Bow St. had no working smoke detectors, fire officials said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
