PORTSMOUTH — TFMoran Inc. recently added engineering technician Andrew Gray to its Portsmouth division team. Gray graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage with a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering. Gray previously was the lead stormwater pollution prevention plan inspector for the $14 million Portage Cove Harbor Expansion in Haines Borough, Alaska.
Cookson adds Demers, promotes Kalakonas
MANCHESTER — Cookson Strategic Communications hired Julie Demers as project manager and promoted Dia Kalakonas to senior director of communications and client engagement. Demers initially will take a lead role on the Sector Partnership Initiative workforce development grant and supporting key membership functions for the New Hampshire High Tech Council, which is managed by the firm. Before her promotion, Kalakonas served as director of strategic communications for over three and a half years.
Nelson joins think tank
LONDONDERRY — Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Verani Realty’s agent Kristyn Nelson was selected to join Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices’ National REthink council, a member-driven think tank. Council members are nominated by their brokers and are recognized as leaders within the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices network.
Stephens joins Speedway PR team
LOUDON — Shannon Stephens was named communications manager at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Stephens joins the New Hampshire Motor Speedway team after spending the last eight and a half years as the promotions and marketing coordinator at Saga Communications’ Manchester Radio Group, which owns and operates WZID/95.7 FM, The Mill/96.5 FM, WFEA/1370 AM & 99.9 FM, Hot Hits/94.1 FM, and The Outlaw/103.1 FM. Before that, she was a member of the radio group’s Street Team for over two years.
Hinckley Allen names Arnold as partner
MANCHESTER — Hinckley Allen promoted John L. Arnold to partner. Arnold, based in the law firm’s Manchester office, practices in the real estate group and focuses on commercial real estate, including acquisitions/dispositions, leasing and land use work.
Arnold also represents clients in a wide variety of real estate related litigation.

DOVER — Certified Public Accounting firm Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, Professional Association promoted Shauna Brown to partner.
A resident of Deerfield and magna cum laude graduate of Bentley College (now Bentley University), Brown has been with the firm since 2006.
