College Roundup: SNHU women stun No. 3 Bentley

The Southern New Hampshire University women’s basketball team handed third-ranked Bentley its second loss of the season Wednesday night, 66-55, at the SNHU Fieldhouse.

The Penmen (14-8, 10-6 NE-10) rallied from a four-point halftime deficit behind Kylie Lorenzen’s game-high 21 points and nine rebounds. Catherine Stinson scored 16 and Gyanna Russell added 10 off the bench.

Becca Musgrove led Bentley (20-2, 14-2 NE-10) with 13 points. Monica Viapiano added 12.

Penmen get a win

Chris Walters scored 29 points and Daquaise Andrews added 23 as the Southern New Hampshire University men’s basketball team got a much needed win Wednesday night, 89-74 over Bentley at the SNHU Fieldhouse.

Eamonn Joyce put up 20 points for SNHU (12-9, 8-8 NE-10), which won for the second time in nine games.

Ryan Richmond topped Bentley (12-10, 9-8 NE-10) with 24 points.
