KINGSTON - A Newmarket woman was arrested Tuesday morning with help from a local homeowner who apprehended her before officers arrived, police said.

Madison Teague was charged with criminal trespass and receiving stolen property after police received a 911 call about 6:50 a.m. reporting a woman was breaking into vehicles in the Simes Road area off New Boston Road, police said.

Officers learned a homeowner had caught the woman and was waiting for police to arrive, police said.

Teague was arrested when police showed up and is being held in the Rockingham County jail.

Police said she was out on bail from other Kingston charges filed in November.
