NHIAA Roundup: Walsh's 24 points help Goffstown girls to win

Kelly Walsh tossed in a season-high 24 points to lead the Goffstown High School girls’ basketball team to a 59-50 triumph over Hanover on Tuesday night in Goffstown. Walsh scored half of her points from the free-throw line.
The victory raised Goffstown’s Division II record to 10-5. Livvy Brannen added 11 points for the Grizzlies, who have won five in a row and nine of 10.
Maddie McCorkle led Hanover (11-4) with 20. Taylor Frances finished with 16.
Manchester Memorial 68, Trinity 30: In Manchester, 10 senior players scored for Memorial on Senior Night as the Crusaders crushed Trinity after a 17-0 run at the start.
Melanie Presseau, a senior, led all scorers with 18 points — all in the first half. Fellow seniors Haleigh Shea and Sydney Robinson each pumped in nine for Memorial, which improved to 13-3.
Aaliyah Black led Trinity with 11 points.
Windham 59, Milford 46: In Milford, Kaleigh Walsh scored 21 points and Sam Adamson finished with 13 to propel the Jaguars (10-5). Elizabeth Paul scored a game-high 22 for Milford, which led by one point at halftime.
Bedford 53, Nashua North 26: In Nashua, the Bulldogs kept their undefeated ways going, improving to 16-0. Aly Fillion led 11 Bedford scorers with 10 points. Lizzy Stevenson followed with seven for the Bulldogs and Mia Roy tossed in six. Danielle Upton led North (5-9) and all scorers with 14 points.
Londonderry 52, Alvirne 20: In Londonderry, the Lancers outscored the Broncos 26-7 in the second half and didn’t allow a point in the third quarter. Ashley Rourke led the charge for Londonderry (7-8) with 12 points and Courtney Shay pitched in 10. Alvirne slipped to 3-15.
Manchester Central 54, Exeter 51: In Exeter, Keltina Francis and Grace Potvin each finished with 10 points to push the Little Green to 9-6 on the season. Central also got eight points from Hannah Autenrieth. Exeter fell to 6-8.
Pinkerton 48, Spaulding 23: In Derry, Brooke Kane led the way with 13 points for Pinkerton while Megan King and Alicia D’Onoforio followed with nine and eight points. Spaulding slipped to 3-12, The Astros (14-1), winners of 12 straight, will face unbeaten Bedford on Thursday.
Bow 56, Manchester West 15: In Bow, the Falcons (8-7) kept things balanced in the win with Erin Boldwin scoring 13 points while Leah Crompton and Sarah Martin each scored eight. Teng Abuk had 12 points for West (0-15).
Pelham 64, Hollis/Brookline 53: In Pelham, Olivia Gagnon and Danielle Sirois combined for 47 points to lead Pelham (13-1) past Hollis/Brookline (14-2). Gagnon posted a career-best 26 points and Siriois added 21. The Pythons needed a 35-21 second half to get by the Cavaliers, who got 16 points from Brodie Kelley
Bow 65, Manchester West 59: In Manchester, the hosts shaved a double-digit lead to two in the final minutes of the game before falling. Junior Dan Jenkins submitted a career-high 25 points, including seven 3-pointers (and six rebounds), and freshman Adam Podsadowski added eight points. Gob Gob added nine points in second-half duty. The Blue Knights dropped to 3-11, while Bow improved to 5-9.
Derryfield 56, Newmarket 55: In Manchester, the Cougars won their second straight game at the buzzer and stayed unbeaten in Division IV. This time, senior forward Cody Bournival did the honors, putting in a short shot after taking a heads-up pass from Trent Henrich. Jeff Pratt led Derryfield (15-0) with 15 points and Max Biron (13) and Andrew Dubreuil (11) also chipped in. Anthony Senesombath led Newmarket (12-4) with 21 points, including a go-ahead bucket with eight seconds remaining.
Windham 60, Milford 58: In Windham, Jake Byers scored 16 points and Joe Shields added 13 for the Jaguars (5-9). Windham led 38-24 at halftime and led by seven entering the fourth quarter. It was a four-point game before Milford made a layup as time expired. Jamie Pare led the Spartans (8-7) with 19.
Londonderry 67, Alvirne 62: In Hudson, Jack Anderson scored 19 points and Dakota Bertrand finished with 15 to lead the Lancers (8-5). Connor Lambert tossed in 14 and Max Bonney-Liles finished with 12 for the Broncos (9-5).
Bedford 59, Nashua North 53: In Bedford, Max Chartier scored 16 points to help the Bulldogs fend off upset-minded North (2-10). Nolan Anderson (13) and Connor Crowley (11) also scored in double figures for Bedford (11-3). Freshman Hans Curtis scored a team-high 14 for North, which trailed 43-42 entering the fourth.
Spaulding 52, Pinkerton 47: In Rochester, Andrew Lufkin scored 17 points in a losing effort for the Astros (2-11). Pinkerton received 15 points from Sam Goy and eight from Matt Furgal.
Pinkerton 9, Bishop Brady 4: Tyler Whiting notched a hat trick and Patrick Hare contributed a pair of goals as the visiting Astros rolled over the Giants. Pinkerton received 11 saves by goalie Matt Gilliland as it ran its record to 12-2 in Division I.
Monadnock 7, Hollis/Brookline-Derryfield 2: In Keene, Lincoln Blodgett and Chris Boucher each scored twice for the Huskies (11-4). Boucher added two assists to go along with his scoring. The Warriors (1-13) picked up goals from Aidan Chretien and Nick Dapolito.
Bishop Guertin 4, Kingswood 1: In Tyngsboro, Mass., the Cardinals improved to 9-5-0 with the win.
