NHIAA Roundup: Dizillo, Gumans lead Trinity

Freshman Anthony Dizillo recorded four goals to lead the Trinity of Manchester boys’ hockey team to a 9-4 triumph over Manchester Central/West Monday night at Sullivan Arena.
The Pioneers (11-6) also received production from brothers Matt, Mike and Tim Guman.
Matt, a senior, and sophomores Mike and Tim each scored once, as did Eric Favreau and Jimmy Kosiarski. Ryan Brewitt made 20 saves for Trinity.
Sophomore Will Hebert logged two goals and his older brother Sam, a senior, added one of his own for Central/West (1-16). John McNichols also scored and Jordan Lamarre made 24 saves for Central/West.
Girls’ hockey
Bishop Guertin 9, Manchester Central 1: At JFK Coliseum in Manchester, Lindsay Hult led the Cardinals with three goals and two assists.
Emma Wallat added two goals and an assist, Grace Goyette scored twice, and Brooke Yabroudy also scored. BG improved to 11-5. Cassidy Lavigne scored Central’s goal.
Girls’ basketball
Manchester Memorial 69, Concord 34: In Concord, Melanie Presseau scored 23 points and Lyric Grumblatt added 21 to lead Manchester Memorial. The Crusaders improved to 14-3 in Division I. The Crimson Tide are 5-11.
