Police: Rochester man, 24, stabbed 7 times in apartment hallway

ROCHESTER - A 24-year-old city man was stabbed about seven times in the hallway of an apartment building early Wednesday, police said.

The incident occurred at 17½ Bridge St., police said. The victim does not live at that address, according to police.

Police said the assailant - who fled - was a white man, about 5'4” tall wearing a blue hoodie with white lettering on the back. A state trooper used a K9 but could not find him.

The victim, who was not identified by police, was taken to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
