Hardekopf for Barrington selectman

March 08. 2018 8:32PM

To the Editor: On Tuesday, March 13, Barrington citizens should vote for Tracy Hardekopf for selectman. Tracy will bring a wide range of valuable experience to town government. Among various other job responsibilities, including as an independent consultant, she was responsible for managing financial programs for a large regional health care facility which included supervising other employees.

For 10 years, Tracy has served on the board, most recently as chair, of an important regional nonprofit, providing housing and parental programs for at-risk young women.

Tracy has a master’s degree in public policy from UNH and is a graduate of the Leadership New Hampshire Program. She holds a second master’s degree in health care management from New England College.

She and her husband, Bill, have been Barrington residents for 17 years, and Tracy has been an articulate advocate for the importance of community. Her training and experience in financial management and human resource planning and development will be a real asset to our community. I urge my fellow citizens to elect her.
