March 21. 2018 6:48AM

NASHUA — A woman was arraigned Tuesday on charges that include stabbing one man and trying to influence a witness.

Police said a man known to Kaysha Barriffe, 24, of 525 Amherst St. was stabbed in the leg, treated at a local hospital and released.

During that investigation, police said they learned of another attempted stabbing of the same victim; a witness told police that Barriffe tried to influence statements made to police about that attack.

While being arrested Sunday, Barriffe allegedly assaulted an officer while being handcuffed.

The police officer was not injured.

The charges include Class A felonies of first-degree assault and attempted first-degree assault as well as a Class B felony of tampering with witnesses and Class A misdemeanors of simple assault and resisting arrest.
