High School Lacrosse Roundup: Pinkerton girls earn triumph

Caroline Daziel logged five goals, leading the Pinkerton Academy girls’ lacrosse team past Keene 19-4, on Tuesday in Derry.

Kiley Davis had a hat trick and Courtney Lamphere and Madison Daziel both scored twice for Pinkerton (7-0). Dani Martineau and Tatyana Sullivan combined for seven savse for the Astros. Keene is 1-3.

Exeter 15, Nashua South 4: In Exeter, Abbey Rowe made eight saves for the Panthers (2-4). Kirsten McIntire scored three goals for South, and Liz Harrinton scored the other. Playing well defensively for South were Hannah Dumaine, Izzy Bolduc and Emma Pucillo.

Boys’ lacrosse

Exeter 12, Acton-Boxborough (Mass.) 6: In Acton, Mass., Mike Penna logged four goals and three assists while Spencer Clark added three goals and an assist for Exeter (2-2). The Blue Hawks also received two goals from Connor Holly and 12 saves from Henry Vogt.

Timberlane 13, Alvirne 3: In Plaistow, the Owls (4-1) won their fourth straight, coasting to victory after sophomore Matt Licata’s five first-half goals helped build a 9-1 halftime lead. Licata finished with six goals and three assists. Teammate Jack Gray contributed three goals and a pair of first-half assists. Owls goalie Nate Taylor recorded 11 saves, six of those in the first quarter.

Dover 17, Kennett 5: In Dover, the Green Wave (5-0) received four goals and two assists from Justin Colizzi and three goals and four assists from Dom Silverio. Ryan Long and Reed Santos each added three goals and two assists for Dover. Kennett of Conway is 1-3.

Derryfield 14, John Stark 7: In Weare, Derryfield senior Connor Glosner scored six goals and had an assist, and goalies Avry Truex (seven saves) and Jack Perkins (four) kept the Generals (3-2) at bay.

Eric Meyer had two goals and four assists for Derryfield, Robbie Dowst scored a goal and notched two assists, Jonny MacLean scored twice and John Anderson had one goal and one assist.

John Stark’s Kayden Easter notched three goals and two assists for John Stark while Noah Bellemore added two goals and one assist.
