Woman pleads guilty to supplying lethal dose of fentanyl

DOVER — The woman who supplied a Dover man with a lethal dose of fentanyl will spend six to 12 years in prison after pleading guilty at Strafford County Superior Court Wednesday morning.

Katrina Short, 30, who now lives in New Jersey, supplied Paul Moody, 33, with the drugs on Feb. 25, 2017. She pleaded guilty to distribution of a controlled drug with death resulting and sale of a controlled drug.

Police and emergency rescue crews were called to Moody’s residence on Mineral Park Drive the afternoon of the sale. They found him unresponsive and he was transported to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital where he died three days later.

Short was facing a potential sentence of up to life in prison.
