PORTSMOUTH — Juli MacDonald was named an associate at DeStefano Architects in Portsmouth. A graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, she became a licensed architect in 1992. MacDonald joined the firm in 2002 as a project architect and currently serves as residential studio manager.
Chamber honors restaurant owner
NASHUA — Nashua resident Harry Cheema, owner of Mr. Mac’s Macaroni and Cheese restaurants in Portsmouth and Tyngsborough, Mass., was presented with the 2018 Distinguished Young Professionals award April 18 by the Greater Lowell, Mass., Chamber of Commerce.
In 2016, Cheema left his career in the pharmaceutical industry to become a restaurateur, becoming the first franchisee owner of Manchester-based Mr. Mac’s Macaroni and Cheese.
Wealth manager earns designation
BEDFORD — Peter Clarke, chief operating officer of The Baldwin & Clarke Companies and senior associate of Baldwin & Clarke’s investment banking division, was certified by the Alliance of Merger and Acquisition Advisors as a Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor, a designation for advisory professionals focused on the private middle market.

CONCORD — William DeWitt of EXIT Realty Great Beginnings earned the Seniors Real Estate Specialist Designation, which includes learning the various struggles that seniors have to go through including physical restrictions, down-sizing, finances, family matters and more.
Kentico names Gooding VP
BEDFORD — Kentico Software, a content management system vendor, appointed Richard Gooding vice president of marketing. Gooding most recently led marketing for Kerio Technologies, a unified communications and network security vendor.
Franklin Savings adds director
FRANKLIN — Franklin Savings Bank’s board of directors recently elected Craig Jacobson to serve as a director. Jacobson spent most of his career working for such technology firms as General Electric, Digital Equipment Corp. and Hewlett-Packard. He retired from the IT world and is now a licensed real estate agent.
Bank of NH appoints executive
BEDFORD — Elin Leonard joined the Bedford Office of Bank of New Hampshire as assistant vice president - banking office manager. Leonard has more than 22 years of experience in the banking industry. She will be responsible for the overall management of the office’s deposit portfolio, customer relationship management and new business development.
McLane Middleton honors Sullivan
MANCHESTER — Lori Sullivan of McLane Middleton was recently presented with the firm’s John R. McLane Jr. Community Service Award during its annual Colleague Recognition Reception. Sullivan is an administrative professional assisting several attorneys in the firm’s Litigation Department and Employment Law Practice Group.
Lakes program names coordinator
CONCORD — The New Hampshire Lakes Association recently named Erin Mastine its outreach program coordinator. Mastine’s work will include expanding the Watershed Warrior program.
The Plymouth State University graduate previously worked for the Lakes Region Conservation Trust, where she was the communications and administrative coordinator for four years.
