CONCORD - A man featured as the U.S. Marshals Service “Fugitive of the Week” was arrested Monday in Italy.

Julion Parker, 26, was named a fugitive after being indicted May 16 in U.S. District Court in Concord on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm and making false statements during acquisition of a firearm, according to the U.S. Marshals Service said.

After Parker was named “Fugitive of the Week,” marshals received tips that he had fled the country and was using the alias of Andrew Owen Lima, a news release said.

Parker was arrested Monday night as he arrived on a flight into Rome, the Marshals Service said.

Parker is being held in Italy pending a decision whether to deport him to the United States or to go through a formal extradition process in Italy, the news release states.
