Biggio drives in 3, Fishers win in Pa.

Cavan Biggio was a home run short of the cycle and drove in three runs in the New Hampshire Fisher Cats’ 7-2 win over the Reading Fightin Phils on Wednesday night in Reading, Pa.

It was New Hampshire’s second straight win by a 7-2 score.

Biggio’s two-run double in the first started the scoring. He tripled in the fifth and scored on a Max Pentecost sacrifice fly, and he had an RBI single in the ninth.

Juan Kelly and Zach Green homered for New Hampshire, and Jonathan Davis had an RBI double.

T. J. Zeuch picked up his first Double-A win (1-2) with seven innings of eight-hit, two-run ball. He fanned six and walked two. Andrew Case pitched the final two innings.

The series wraps up today at 11:35 a.m. The Fisher Cats return home Friday to kick off a four-game series with the Hartford Yard Goats.
