Fisher Cats lose to Baysox, 4-1

The Bowie Baysox scored two in the first and two in the ninth Saturday to defeat the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 4-1, in Eastern League play at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester.
Anthony Santander had a pair of hits and Corban Joseph had two hits and knocked in a run as the Baysox turned the table on New Hampshire after losing Friday night to the home team, 4-2.
Keegan Akin (7-4) pitched six innings for Bowie and got the win, scattering four hits and allowing the Fishers Cats their only run.
Branden Kline finished up the final three innings for Bowie and gave up a lone hit.
New Hampshire starter Josh DeGraaf also went six innings, giving up four hits and two runs. After Zach Jackson pitched two hitless innings, reliever Kirby Snead went the final inning, giving up three hits, two runs (both earned),walking two and tossing a wild pitch.
DeGraaf was charged with the loss.
Bowie (28-30) started the game with three consecutive hits. Anderson Feliz and Santander reached on singles. Feliz scored on a double by Joseph to make it 1-0. The Baysox tacked on a run with a sacrifice fly by Ryan Mountcastle to take a 2-0 lead.
New Hampshire (36-25) scored in the bottom of the fifth inning. Andrew Guillotte's two-out single was followed by a walk to Jonathan Davis and an RBI single by Berti.
Jon Berti and Guillotte each had two hits for New Hampshire.
The teams complete their series at 1:35 p.m. today at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.
