Leadoff man Jonathan Davis collected four hits and scored twice, helping the New Hampshire Fisher Cats past the Bowie Baysox 7-5 in the Fishers’ homestand finale on Sunday before 5,523 fans at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester.

It was the 1,000th victory in the history of the team.

Bo Bichette and Max Pentecost each cracked a double and two singles, sparking the Fisher Cats’ 14-hit attack. New Hampshire did all of its damage in the first four innings; Jon Berti’s two-run double highlighted a four-run fourth off losing pitcher Jayson Aquino (3-3).

Justin Dillon (1-1) worked five innings to earn the win. He allowed five runs (two earned) on five hits, including Aderlin Rodriguez’ solo homer. Fisher Cats relievers Nick Hartman (one inning), Travis Bergen (two innings) and Jose Fernandez (ninth save, first save) held Bowie scoreless the rest of the way.

The Fisher Cats have today off before opening a series at Akron.
