Jon Harris pitched no-hit ball for six innings before coming out of the game, leading the New Hampshire Fisher Cats to a 6-1 win over the RubberDucks in an Eastern League game Tuesday night in Akron.
Harris threw 89 pitches, walking one and fanning six, before giving way to Danny Young, who pitched the seventh inning and allowed the Akron run when Joe Sever doubled to break up the team no-hitter and scored on a wild pitch.
Bo Bichette homered, his fourth of the season, to give the Fisher Cats a 2-0 lead in the fourth. They added four runs in the fifth inning when Jon Berti cracked a three-run triple, then scored on Bichette’s sacrifice fly.
New Hampshire finished with five hits.
The teams continue their series tonight at 7:05 p.m.
