Fisher Cats postponed in Pa.

June 18. 2018 10:13PM

Marcus Stroman, a 13-game winner for the Toronto Blue Jays last season, was scheduled to start for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats on Monday night at Erie before the game was postponed by rain.

The game will be made up Tuesday as part of a doubleheader (two seven-inning games) starting at 4:35 p.m. Jordan Romano and T.J. Zeuch will be the starting pitchers for the Fisher Cats.

Stroman, whose minor league career included stops with the Fisher Cats, has been out for more than a month while recovering from shoulder fatigue.

He fashioned a 7.71 ERA this season before he was placed on the disabled list on May 11.

He pitched 4 1/3 innings for High-A Dunedin (Fla.) last Wednesday, allowing two runs on one hit and four walks. He struck out three.
