T.J. Zeuch allowed five hits over seven innings, lifting the New Hampshire Fisher Cats past Trenton 4-0 on Sunday in New Jersey.

Zeuch (6-3), named to the Eastern League all-star team last week, walked two and fanned four. It was his eighth quality start in 11 outings. Kirby Snead and Andrew Case pitched one scoreless inning apiece to complete the shutout.

New Hamsphire, blanked for the first time all season on Saturday night, ended a 13-inning drought in the third. Fisher Cats newcomer Eduard Pinto led off with a homer, and Max Pentecost later added an RBI double.

The Fishers added to their lead in the fourth on Jonathan Davis’ sacrifice fly, scoring Nash Knight (single), then scored an insurance run in the eighth on Gunnar Heidt’s bunt single.

Pentecost led the way with his first three-hit performance of the season. Panas, Pinto and Heidt all collected two hits in New Hampshire’s 12-hit attack.

The series continues tonight at 7 p.m. with lefty Tom Pannone continuing his rehab assignment with the Fishers while righty Domingo Acevedo pitches for Trenton.
