MANCHESTER — The Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce and the Manchester Young Professionals Network are hosting a community “Picnic in the Park” in Victory Park (across from the Manchester Public Library) from noon to 2 p.m. on Wednesday.

The free event will feature food trucks, including The Smoothie Bus, Prime Grilled Cheese, New Hampshire Food Bank Catering and Forking Awesome.

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Manchester Monarchs, YMCA, New Hampshire Institute of Art and other Manchester businesses will be providing activities and live music.

Attendees can purchase food from vendors or can bring a bag lunch.

Goshgarian to retire from business arts board

CONCORD — Joan Goshgarian, who has led the New Hampshire Business Committee for the Arts as executive director for 33 years, plans to retire this year, the nonprofit announced Monday.

Goshgarian will assist the board in the transition to new leadership and is expected to leave sometime toward the end of the year, the group said in an email.
