J.D. Martinez homered twice, including a two-run blast to break an eighth-inning tie, as the Red Sox completed a doubleheader sweep Saturday night with a 6-4 win over the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards.

Seven Boston pitchers worked in the game. Joe Kelly (4-0) got the win in relief and Craig Kimbrel earned his 34th save.

Boston is now 84-35 and holds a 9½-game lead over the New York Yankees in the American League East.

Martinez homered in the fourth to cut Baltimore's lead to 2-1. Dan Butler drove in a run to tie the game with a sacrifice fly in the fifth, and Steve Pearce scored on a wild pitch to give Boston a 3-2 lead. Martinez's second homer, in the eighth, put the Sox on top. It was his 37th of the year to go along with 104 runs batted in.

Baltimore got one in the first on Renato Nunez's RBI double, and one in the second on a Trey Mancini run-scoring single.

After falling behind in the top of the sixth, the Orioles tied it in the bottom of the frame on a Joey Rickard solo homer off Boston reliever Heath Hembree.

Brock Holt singled home Mookie Betts, who hit a two-out double, to notch an insurance run for Boston, which became even more important when Trey Mancini hit a solo homer, his 17th of the year, off Kimbrel to make it a two-run game.

The Red Sox go for the four-game sweep in Baltimore Sunday, Aug. 12, 2018, at 1:05 p.m. Chris Sale (11-4) returns from the disabled list to pitch against Alex Cobb (3-14).
